Building on our inheritance: Genomic technology in healthcare

In its report to the Government on genomic technology published yesterday, the Human Genomics Strategy Group, chaired by Professor Sir John Bell, highlights the UK's achievements in genetics research to date and proposes a strategic vision to realise the future benefit of genomics. The NGEDC is delighted that its work from the past seven years has been recognised by the group and that education of NHS staff is considered to be a key recommendation.
