The Centre staff come from a range of diverse professional backgrounds, providing expertise in patient involvement, educational theory and practice, genetics, communications, information technology, service delivery and evaluation. Most of the team are based at the Birmingham Women's Hospital where they work closely with the West Midlands Regional Genetics Service. The nursing professions team is based at the Genomics Policy Unit, in the Faculty of Health, Sport and Science at the University of Glamorgan.
